Yvonne's Story
Life
I am presently living in Las Cruces. I am enjoying retirement life after having worked several years as a medical social worker at several medical settings. Most recently I retired as the Grief Counselor and Bereavement Services Coordinator at Mesilla Valley Hospice. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Social Work in 1971 from NMSU. I returned to NMSU graduate school in 1994 and in

are 3 sons, Rick (aka Trinidad III), Dennis, Henry, and 1 daughter, Andrea. All are married. We have 9 grandchildren. We love being grandparents to these precious grandchildren. My husband is a retired registered nurse, most recently working as a diabetes educator at Memorial Medical Center. Although retired, he assists Southern NM Diabetes Organization as a diabetes educator for a few hours a month. It's unbelievable to see how fast time has flown since high school days! I feel so grateful and blessed to have so many wonderful memories of fun times and great friends! Life continues to be good!
